It is one of those “things” tricky to describe, but those who have lived it know it instantly. I will say I’m jealous of your California beach upbringing. Are you back to being on a beach? The beach here usually requires a jacket and the shoreline is often made of pebbles, not sand. When things calm, I truly need to visit a sunny, sandy, open beach for a week (hopefully one I can reach via train, I’m over getting on a plane).
